A broad legal
perspective
I specialise in construction, energy and public procurement law. Over 15 years I built my experience — first in international law firms, then for the past 9 years handling Poland's largest State Treasury infrastructure investments.
This unique combination of perspectives from both sides of a contract allows me to defend my clients' interests effectively, regardless of who they are negotiating with.
Five areas of specialisation where I combine legal expertise with deep knowledge of the construction and energy sectors.
- Fear of contractual penalties
- Complexity of the investment process
- Changing regulations
- Dynamics of the investment process (requiring rapid legally sound decisions)
- Fear of disputes that "freeze" payment for years
My clients' main concerns
bring in a lawyer from the start
Prevention is better than cure. I place emphasis on direct contact and guarantee end-to-end service. I handle matters personally to maintain control over the entire process.
Who do I serve?
My services are aimed at entities operating in the construction, energy and infrastructure sectors.
Scope of specialisation
Construction firms
The construction sector operates under high contractual risk. When signing a contract without legal analysis, firms often fail to notice how many clauses may work against them. I analyse contract documentation, detect hidden risks and help renegotiate terms before the commitment is signed. Early intervention is always cheaper than a dispute.
Tenders and NAC proceedings
Public procurement proceedings in Poland are highly formalised — any procedural error can exclude a firm from proceedings or result in rejection of its bid. I prepare bids, verify specifications and documentation, and represent before the National Appeals Chamber when needed. Years of handling proceedings from the contracting authority's side give me inside knowledge of their logic.
Contract negotiation
Contract negotiations determine who bears the risk for the entire duration of a project. I aim for provisions favourable to my client — not standard clauses that only protect the other side. I handle general contractor, subcontractor, EPC, PPA in the renewables sector and all infrastructure contracts of significant value.
Litigation and arbitration
When a dispute has arisen, experience on the other side of the table matters. For 9 years I handled Poland's largest State Treasury infrastructure investments — I know how contracting authorities think and how to effectively defend a contractor's interests. I represent before common courts and arbitration tribunals in construction, energy and infrastructure disputes.
General legal services
Ongoing legal services for businesses — from commercial contracts to employment law and compliance. I serve companies in Polish and English, with particular focus on firms operating at the intersection of Polish and foreign law or with international investors.
How do we work together?
There is no single fixed model. I adapt my approach to each client's individual needs and the specifics of their matter — but there are elements that appear in every successful engagement.
A phone call or meeting. I learn about your matter, assess the risk and define the scope of legal assistance needed.
Detailed analysis of contract, tender or procedural documentation. I identify risks, opportunities and optimal courses of action.
Development of a plan tailored to your situation — negotiation, litigation or settlement. You decide which path we take.
Execution of the agreed strategy. I am engaged throughout the entire duration of the matter — from negotiating with the other party to representation in court or tribunal.
